Will you tell us not to use AI?
Sometimes, yes. A consultancy that only ever recommends the thing it sells is not giving advice.
Can models run without sending data outside?
Yes. Open-weight models run inside your perimeter, and for regulated data that is often the only defensible option.
What about our staff already pasting things into chatbots?
That is happening, and a policy nobody reads will not stop it. What works is a sanctioned tool that is good enough, plus one page of plain rules.
