Maple Open Tech develops software products for the global market that respect Canadian privacy and data sovereignty standards. We are based in Southwold, Ontario, and we build, run and support every product we make.
Two Canadian firms, one stack
- SSP Media brings the long-running operating, business and customer-facing history: websites, social media and digital marketing, from Southwold, Ontario
- Mika Software brings the established software-development history: scalable web apps in Go, and MeshCore, LoRa and LoRaWAN networks, built for business, non-profits, government and municipalities
- Maple Open Tech is the new technology venture through which the partners build and commercialize the Maple product portfolio

What we build, we own
Maple Open Tech develops its own software products and keeps and controls the intellectual property in them. Where an existing open-source project does a job well, we build on it, choosing components whose licences fit, and we say which is which.
